The Last Battle

"A Band" is not a term you could really hang on The Last Battle.
They're more a revolving door of musicians spinning on the songs of one bearded man - Scott Longmuir.
To date they've released one album - 'Heart Of The Land, Soul Of The Sea" on the indie label 17 Seconds Records. The album received glowing press from the likes of The Scotsman, The Sunday Herald and The List. A second album is imminent.

"Their ambitious debut album, Heart Of The Land, Soul Of The Sea touches on Arab Strap as much as Frightened Rabbit or the post-Idlewild work of Roddy Woomble."
- Alan Morrison, The Herald

"Should please fans of Fence Records babies Kid Canaveral and Fence papa (and Mercury Music Prize Nominee) King Creosote."
- *** The List

Book Group (formerly The Bad Books)
Pegged as "ones to watch" by The Scotsman and voted (second) best band of 2012 by Aye Tunes, Book Group have been building a reputation as one of the best live bands to emerge from Edinburgh in the past few years. They are currently in the studio recording what will be their debut release. Again, this will be their inaugural gig of 2013

"There are several instant classics already in the set....I'm just as excited about this band as I was before the show even more so in fact."
- Manic Pop Thrills

"A storm of a performance......smart, engaging and self-assured"
- Peenko
