....his last ever gig will be in Glasgow.

Is it mawkish to go, or respectful?

Thoughts?

I suppose you have to take it from Wilko's point of view. If it's what he wants it's not mawkish to go.

Yeah, I've decided it has to be a yes.

Must have company, though, lest I'm an emotional wreck...

I'll be going through with my mate, John, another Hibby, so you'd be more than welcome to join us.

The sound in the O2 is usually woeful and upstairs is probably best.

The only possible fly in the ointment is that we're supposed to be playing Hearts that day, but I guess it'll be moved to the Sunday or earlier in the day.

Cheers for the offer... but I think we're getting a squad together. Possibly guys coming up from England for it.

Just realised about the Derby... and one of us is a Jambo.....

Didn't think I could face going then changed my mind by which time it was sold out.

Was lucky to see him at Leith Town Hall in about 1976 with Dr Feelgood. Seen him a couple of times over the last few years - a true legend.

Enjoy it, I'll be there in spirit.

PS - If you come across a spare ticket please PM me.
