FFS he's going to love this thread!

He a good mate of mine and I met him outside Tynie before the game. He was telling me about everyone singing "Jesus" songs at him in the Roseburn and I thought he was just being a drunken bum. Then, going into the ground random folk would shout various Jesus stuff at him so I realised it must have happened. Now this!

He even performed a miracle in the pub after the game.................he bought a round! :wink:

When I started off in The Murrayfield at about 2.30, the boy with that cake (there can't have been 2 surely.....) was there and I got my photo taken, which I believe is on Facebook. Bit of an odd one - I thought he was going to offer me a piece, but apparently it was going on a "tour".

Lord knows what had happened to it by kick-off

The boy with the cake is my mate and I scranned half it in the Roseburn. I can't recall whether or not it tasted as good as it looked as I had had one too many alcoholic apple juices by this point.

Did you start off the day in The Murrayfield. The boy with the cake - a bit older older than us if it's the same one - was in there then. Bit of an effort to get that baked.

Loved that he was planning on taking it to Tynie's main entrance for photos but thought better of it cos he thought the natives might get a tad restless

Outstanding, thanks for the FB link

This was a real highlight on what was a really enjoyable day - good times returning to the Hibees!

Just think what we'll do to Hearts when they are actually ever reduced to fielding a team that - like, wait for it - they can actually afford?

10 years of glory ahead...:flag::flag:
