Was open at 9:30 this morning when i walked past. Had big sale stickers in the windows!

Oh you ghouls!

Last time I went to HMV they didn't have the latest albums of Neil Young or Dylan on display.

So I went home and got them both on the net for peanuts.

What I will miss is the quiet Classical/Jazz section up the stair.

Should have said, it was the one outside St James Centre. Not Princess Street.

I was in yesterday for a DVD I needed in a hurry - paid less than half what Amazon wanted for it (OK; Amazon only wanted £6.50 for it, but it felt like a result :greengrin). Shop was mobbed, and staff were in really good form, considering. Lots of customers passing on their best wishes. Like Heretoday above, I'll miss the classics and jazz section upstairs. A wee oasis of calm (and middle-aged punters....). Always came out feeling soothed.
