Vague memories of Townsley laying in to someone that was slagging him off.

They've a long way to go before they earn the right to laugh at anything we say...the people who pay their ****ing wages.

If any players who played for us between 2008 and last season find anything remotely funny then please tell one of your "mates" who post here so they can let us all in on the joke.

The joke was on us big time during that period.

2) Don't read the message board

I would say that certain players are no stranger to the odd post or 2 either.

I'm baffled as to why players don't post on here.

Most of them have Twitter accounts which allow anyone to vent their childish spleen at them, yet they don't post on a generally supportive message board such as this.

Maybe they 140 characters is about their limit for written conversation. :devil:

It was years ago towards the end of shiels Hibs career.

A poster was convinced he was Dean Shiels. Much hilarity ensued.
Many other Dean Shiels' joined the discussion. More virtual pointing and laughing commenced.

There were many other details but its all a bit hazy.

I think the conclusion of the thread was original 'dean shiels' either got banned or closed his account.

Someone else will be able to give a better description of the events that day.
