I don't particularly find Billy Connelly funny but I admire how open and frank he is about his abuses without remaining a victim of them.

My opinion on Billy Connolly changed when my wife surprised me with tickets for his show over here a few years ago. He made a comment about being British and someone from way behind me shouted out "You're Scottish, not British". Billy missed the comment and asked him to repeat. He missed it again and I shouted up to him, "He said you're Scottish, not British". Billy turned to the guy's general direction and called him a see you next Tuesday because he was British. That disappointed me a little, even if he is correct.
