I've just finished watching the new David Attenborough show on BBC1, his shows are always good but it was seriously the best bit of tv I've watched in a very long time
If you didn't see it then watch it on I player, absolutely tremendous!!

HB is a mentalist:agree:
Attenborough should be King. I might become a royalist if he gets steaming and attempts to overthrow the Windsors.

That was a bit traumatic tonight. What about that baby elephant:boo hoo:and how much of a wee ******* was that Shoebill? :grr:
Brilliant TV again though. Those cameramen must have one of the best jobs imaginable.

Had to change the channel at that bit also when the bird decided not to look after the weaker chick :-( I don't know what kind of bird it was though.

That was the Shoebill that 'bollah mentioned. I suppose it goes to show that nature can be as brutal as it is beautiful.
I love the fact that the people who make programs like this are learning new things about animals we thought we knew well and showing them to us. The part with the hippos "socialising" being a good example.
