Scotsman (Sport): Dale retains triathlon title at Holyrood

Craig Dale retained his New Year’s Day triathlon title in Edinburgh with a comfortable victory as the race returned to its traditional slot after a three-year hiatus. The former European champion, who will focus on his cycling career in 2013, was one of the quickest in the swim in the Commonwealth Pool and then moved into second place on the cycle leg in Holyrood Park.
