Is anyone else an Everton fanatic?

I'm watching them against Chelsea today and they are so frustrating to watch. Just like Hibs at times.

Thay are allowing Chelsea to dominate the game for some reason. Only looking to hit them on the break.

At the start of the match they were all over Chelsea.

My brother lives in Crosby and I try to fit in an Everton match when I go down there ( I've never liked Liverpool FC ) I have a soft spot for the Toffees but Hibs is the only team for me.

Always liked The Toffees but give me Sunshine on Leith everyday over the theme from Z Cars.

You rang? :greengrin

Me and my mate (Everton is his main team) are convinced Everton are the English Hibs, lots of similarities.

They absolutely dominated this game for the first 25 minutes and could've had 3 or 4 in that first half, but allowed Chelsea to come back into it, and with players like Lampard, Mata, Torres, you just can't afford to do that.

Pienaar and Osman have been outstanding yet again in the middle. Considering they are missing Fellaini, Mirallas and Neville, they are doing very well.

Everton are my "other team", even although i've never been to an Everton game in my life.

Couple of years ago my wife and I went to Liverpool for a weekend Travel Lodge break in February.

Sounds like crap? it wasn't. I have never met such friendly folk. It was like Glasgow without the religious nonsense.

The local pub was full of supporters of both persuasions and the footy banter was flying. Oh that we could achieve that in Edinburgh.

Only saw Everton once and it cost me £3. They played Guernsey in Guernsey in 1997 and apparently won 6-0 although to this day I thought it was either 9-0 or 11-0. Big Duncan Ferguson was playing for them.

Everton are unlucky not to be ahead in this game. I don't mind Everton, always enjoyed watching them.

On another note Jelavic is some player, guess I couldn't see it before because of a different 'Blue Strip'

Chelsea are obviously stronger and no amount of Everton effort can combat that but I just wish they would get stuck in!

Inevitably Chelsea won the game. Is it that they have more quality players or is it that they have a better system?

I suspect the former. Everton were looking like donkeys at the end.

Really? No way is he good enough. I thought he was going to Celtic, or the rangers?

The deal he's been offered from china blows the Celtc deal clean out the water.(£1 million for 9 months)
McCoist has been in touch with him regarding a move to Sevco once he returns in September,
but Everton look like the favourites to land him once he's home.

His last game will be against us i believe? If he's fit lol

In the relegation battle at Loftus road, Liverpool have done themselves a huge favour by going 2 goals up in the first 15 minutes.

Agreed

He's inherited a team that would have been **** hot in 2007.

They're going down unless he builds a whole new team in January.
