Hey everyone,

Just wondering if any of you know where I can source a Match Programme from the game above? Finally found out what my first game was and had a search to see if I can buy a programme from it but had no luck!

It was definately blue. It helped me find out who we played as thats pretty much all I can remember from it!

Was this a pre-season friendly where we got beat 2-0 and Dion Dublin scored twice, I'm positive 1 was bycycle kick or was it the Gordon Hunter Testimonial??

We played them 2 years on the bounce iirc

Was this a pre-season friendly where we got beat 2-0 and Dion Dublin scored twice, I'm positive 1 was bycycle kick or was it the Gordon Hunter Testimonial??

We played them 2 years on the bounce iirc

I am sending the programme to Teo - it was 2-0 to Coventry and Dublin did score 1 but I had written the other scorer in the programme and its now inside the envelope to post to him! It wasn't the Geebsie testimonial, that was 1996.

We played Coventry in a preseason tournament with Yams and Citeh probably mid 80s or so. Coventry did have an appalling brown change strip at the time.

It was the beginning of the dreadful 1979-80 season, Jim Brown ex jambo made his debut for us I think.

Game finished 0-0 :agree:

2-0 game in 1997 had Dion Dublin and John Salako scoring while WGS was their manager!

Thought I had a program for that match but could't find it but when looking through all stuff Hibs found the program from the afore mentioned festival trophy with Coventry , Man City and Hearts. Also found ticket stub for Alloa league Cup tie on the 9th. of August 1997 which I think was the game when Chic Charnley scored from the half way line and I missed 'cause I'd gone to the loo and there were no cameras so still never seen it BAH HUMBUG.
