No idea. 8-9 years as a pure guess.

Delighted to get a game against those soap dodgin, B.O. reeking, hub cap stealing, lesser greening, **** bags under the lights with a full home support roaring us on.

I would reckon mid 90s. Though now I think about it, the year that the Sky deal collapsed may have seen one.

I'm going this one -

Sun 20May 2007

Hibernian 2 - 1 Celtic

HT 0 - 0 FT 2 - 1

Scott Brown (60)Ivan Sproule (90)

Derek Riordan (56)

Don't think that was on TV as it was last game of the season. There's some games from the Calderwood days that I can't really remember - presume they were all live though.

Wasn't that the game when the Celtc fans started chanting, " that's why we're buying him" after Brown scored? If so, the game was live on TV.

In that case, we're going back to either of the two home games in the 2000/01 season (0-0 midweek first, then 2-5 pre-cup final) or the first time we played them after promotion in 1999. That was on a Saturday at a time when Sky had Sunday 6.05 kick-offs, so unless either of the previous two weren't on TV it's that one.

My guess earlier was 4-3 Scottish Cup game in 1985.....We surely have played than on a Saturday at 3pm after that, but struggling to think of when....

Thinking more about it, sure they pumped us 5-0 on a Sat at 3pm, when McClair was playing for them in hideous mint strips.....

* Disclaimer - our mint strips were class, their's was honking.........

Correct.

Only 4 times in 24 SPL games have Hibernian v Celtic not been on the TV.

Just 1 had a Saturday 3pm kick off, details above in September 1999.

In 2000/01, both games at Easter Road were not live despite Hibernian pressing Celtic for a long part of the season. The 0-0 draw in Nov 2000 was on a Wednesday night and the 5-2 defeat, two weeks before the Scottish Cup Final between the teams, was on a Sunday bercause Hearts played Rangers at Tynecastle the day before.

The last time was May 2007, Hibernian 2-1 Celtic, Scott Brown's last game for the club. This was a Sunday 1.15pm kick off as it was the last game of the season and all games had to finish at the same time. Kilmarnock v Hearts was on TV that day, that was the game which decided who qualified for Europe, the Hibs game didn't matter too much in terms of deciding anything. It was Hibernian's only win that season following the League Cup Final.

Last Celtic game not live was May 2007. Rangers in April 2007 and Hearts was April 2006.

Checking my records it appears it's 54 out of 59. I'm guessing you have access to sky archives ...they must have highlights of every Hibs game...I'm trying to put together a record of what colours Hibs wore in every game...don't suppose you might be able to help?

The 0 0 in that November I will never forget.

We were given a penalty that night and leaping leprachaun oneill ran 50 yards to the linesman to tell him our player was offside. I was fuming.

It was soooooo windy that night too. Sure there was a chance it was going to get postponed. I was in the old West that night too

Maybe but it wasn't live in the UK. The full match was shown later that day on Celtic TV/Setanta.

When I was in the club store last week the girl told me that there was only 4000 tickets remaining available, will be less now... I think it could be close to a 20,000 attendance :)
