Not exactly sure which of those goals was Fenlon's fault.

Agreed - but WTF was he thinking at the 2nd?

James dreaming for the header from higdon eho seemed to have a hand in 2 goals anyway, what was Hanlon doing aswell feom that header, dreaming also rather than anticipate it comibg back across, a wee token slide in which is happening far to often.

Incidently 3 goals all scored in our 6 yard box is atrocious, as much as we slate the defence for basics which is true we let them overrun us big time and the 5 in the midfield done us mor harm than good.

Also humphrys roasted McGivern just to balance out the McPake and Maybury slating,

The first two?

Thought he was more to blame for the third to be honest - he could have shouted louder at that one definitely.

The big team took a big away following to Perth.

You could have fitted them all in one bus.

IMO I think it was OK to give the booking, he made no attempt to play the ball, he simply pulled the guy back - and if he had been the last man in that line: he would have been off the park, early on in the game. The second foul in THEIR half was uncalled for: two particularly dumb fouls from the captain on his return...

i've watched the replay of the McPake red card about 10 times and still can't see him making contact with the motherwell player

The first goal was a shocker to lose. McGivern ripped apart and then McPake and Hanlon found wanting in our 6 yard box.

2nd goal was just about as bad. A corner was to the back post...first McPake beaten in the air, and then McGivern beaten. Terrible really.

3rd Goal. Ojaama ran at Maybury, but lets be honest what do we want? Maybury to dive in in the box and give him a run at goal or stand up? Personally I would prefer the latter which he done. At the point of contact for the goal McPake had dived in and Hanlon was nowhere to be seen.

Keeper faultless for all 3 goals.

As for the red card. 1st one was a yellow. 2nd one I am 50/50 about. A challenge in the air and the Motherwell player came off worst? In my view he didn't use elbows or hands? Is every foul like that going to be a booking now?

Personally thought two very soft bookings for McPake.

:agree: He's pulling the guy back - that's a yellow in my book.
