HEARTS have banned Scott Robinson from training after he refused to be a sub against Aberdeen.

Stunned Jambos boss John McGlynn banished him to the stand on Saturday — with Robinson told to stay away from the club until next Monday, when they will hold showdown talks.

Some on kickback suggesting that he's was in the team on the Friday and taken out when he turned up at the ground for the match.
They are thinking that possibly McGlynn didn't pick the team?

. and some are seriously asking, if McGlynn didn't pick the team, 'who did?' :rotflmao:

McGlynn really must have no shame.

Not getting paid, the fans hate him and now he might not have full control over team selection.

A few years ago I actually felt quite sorry for the guy when he was asked to pick up the pieces after at least 2 sackings but, like Ryan Stevenson, if he was stupid enough to go back then he deserves what he gets.

Apparently he turned up to training half drunk from the night before.

...Then started fighting with the management!!

Did he chuck his training bib at someone?

It's comforting to know that as a club we don't attract all the wasters!

Sounds like a made up story to be honest.

Suppose it would explain how they won on Saturday

Also a bit funny that John Sutton started after McGlynn's rant about him a few days before. Doubt that he would have backed down over that so suddenly without someone having a word in his ear.

I'm not really sure what they can do about this to be honest.

I mean, it's not as if they can do what most clubs would do in this sort of situation and threaten to fine him a couple of weeks' wages!

I must admit, I saw the thread title and my first thought was "I wonder if it's for his own safety?"

Not to sound controversial, but I wonder if perhaps this may indicate something more sinister behind the scenes at what is typically thought of as being a well-run, professional club.

Who cares they will soon not get paid and no players will turn up!

Another thought;

Is it legal for a company/organisation to punish a volunteer member of staff who just didn't turn up for work one day?

Surely voluntary work, by its very definition, means that you can turn up whenever you are able to.

One of the other Hearts young players didn't start on Saturday, if he had played as opposed to being on the bench a further payment was due to him.

If Hertz just fine their whole squad for increasingly spurious and random reasons this may ultimately negate the need to pay wages ever again..........Vlads a genius!

His career has just never been the same since leaving Neighbours.

I blame Charlene (Kylie) and it wouldn't surprise me if Harold Bishop is picking the there Team.

Apparently he was boozing with Joe Mangle, few too many then pitched up at training with bouncer the dog. True story.
