Did he say he was fit or just on his way to Inverness? I'd expect he would make the journey with the squad even if he wasn't playing

I heard that in the Mowbray days that the team bus travelled up on the same day as the game. Don't know if its true but just something I heard.

Night before trips to Aberdeen and Inverness were cut as a cost cutting measure. Fair game really as a night before in a hotel can cost a fair whack, even at group rates due to pre match meals, snacks, etc. I think it's for the better we go up the night before. More rested players

During the shocking run of results at Inverness, they seemed to chop and change between staying over and traveling up on match day, in an attempt to find the winning formula.

I think we won up there twice last season?

Not sure it was a cost cutting exercise more wanting players in their own beds

We did! But I think AberGreen was meaning when we hadn't won up there. Remember we had never EVER won up there before the first game of last season.

Hopefully make it a hat trick tomorrow :aok:

As for Sparky... I would rest him tomorrow. Need him fully fit for Well, Killie, Ross County, Celtic and Hearts all in the space of 19 days.

I think Caldwell will be able to do the business along with Doyle

Probably just going early to make sure they don't get stuck on that death-trap of a road tomorrow.

need sparky to play, even if he's not 100%

we should be looking to continue the positive momentum from the derby win and go on a wee run in the league

No chance, he's been below par the last few weeks so no chance risking him when not right, rest and save him for the busy xmas period

Oh stop it and grow tf up. There are several hundred thousand of us live up here and while it's not the greatest road in the world, it's nowhere near the death trap folk like you make it sound.

Anyone seen the abuse he's getting on Twitter tonight, some guy just tweeted that he hopes Leigh dies in his sleep, not sure why he keeps the account!
