Never believe anything a manager says about injuries-neither are anywhere near playing-don't think they actually know what's wrong with either-McPake will be visiting a London specialist soon.

we really need at least one of them back very soon... games come thick and fast during Dec/Jan and lots of important tough games ahead. Playing the same side for a number of weeks has its obvious advantages but fatique and/or slackness is bound to have an impact.

When can we expect Deegan to return... will he play before next Cup match early Feb?

True. Claros & Taiwo have done excellent together in the middle but I think we definitely have missed Deegs' presence in the middle.

In that case why did Clancy get an operation on a groin problem 2 and a half weeks ago? Are you just making it up as you go along?

Tbh if it was a choice of the two defenders, I would want Clancy back first, granted we've missed mcpake but Ryan and Paul have kept us back to back clean sheets, maybury is a major target for any team we play
