Hope Sellick get through, and Elgin can go first in Divi 3 if they beat Peterhead:greengrin

Yep, a couple of seasons ago I would've wanted Celtic to fall flat on their faces, but now that Rangers are out of the picture, the lay of the land has definitely changed. Hopefully Celtic can redeem Scottish football a little bit with a good performance tonight!:aok:

Only want Celtic to win tonight because the longer they stay in the Champions League, the better for us.

No other reason.

PS-How did Kris Commons escape without a booking a minute ago?

couldve been 4 yellows already

My feelings are different this season too. With sevco fans bleating about Scottish football being finished, it's good to see a Scottish team doing well in Europe. It also helps the coefficient, and the longer Celtic stay in Europe the better. It means more euro hangovers in the league :-)

Actually from an us winning the league view we'd be better off if they drop into the Europa League, as they will likely go further

Yep, as long as Celtic pick up more points tonight than Benfica then they're through.

A late goal from Benfica at the Nou Camp, though and they're out.

Shocking tackle.

Got to say the referee in the Celtic game has been outstanding. Puts our lot to shame. *

* Even after awarding a penalty to Celtc and sending off one of the opposition.

Never a pen but if it stays like this and they go through, you'd have say they deserve to go through.

I couldn't care less about Celtic but I'll take any positives out of their win. a) they'll be less focussed on the league. b) it can only help the co-efficient. c) Sevco won't admit it but they'll be spewing.

Amazing how the English teams have struggled this year. Premiership holders out, reigning champions out and Man Utd/Arsenal have both looked pretty fragile against teams they really should be capable of beating.

Very much enjoyed watching the German sides in the Champions League this season. Bayern, Borussia and Schalke have all looked pretty formidable thus far and it really wouldn't surprise me if one of them go on to win it this year. The Bundesliga is certainly being well represented and it's great to see as it's probably the best league in Europe IMO.
