My mate got a photo of him doing one nil with his hands. The one, being his middle digit :agree:

Saw a guy in the Brass Monkey on Leith Walk after the match who looked like Ian Murray. He had a hat on and by this time I was on my sixth pint of the day (I don't even have that many in a week but made an exception yesterday) so it was difficult to tell for sure.

I was only joking ! Looking at Wikipedia he only played 14 games for the club - in the 1986-1987 season.

I think that he was one of the "famous five" signings that close season along with Billy Kirkwood, Stuart Beedie, Willie Irvine (not the prolific goalscoring Willie Irvine) and..................

.................anyone ?

The great Lawrie Reilly on his usual seat behind the directors box and big Craig Paterson who was winding Robbo up in the press box.
Saw The great John Brownlie in the press section and also Eamon Bannon who only played one game for us.

:agree: I was watching both him and Kenny Miler in their wee green "Sky" box from my vantage point in one of those comfy leather jobbies in the FF upper and when Hibs scored I really wanted to see KM celebrate by nutting MS. Sadly never happened of course.

No. I could see them looking out the window of the wee box when Hibs scored then they sat down probably to watch the replay on the tellybox. I think Mike Stewart probably threw up or kicked a can when he saw it was an OG.

I was speaking to a real Hibs legend in the Persevere after the game. John Brownlie from Turnbull's Tornadoes time. He told me he was doing a bit of work for Terry Butcher, writing reports on Inverness's next opponents.

Did mention our right back looked a real weakness but declined the offer to get his boots back on and wear the number 2 for us.

It was indeed the Ian Murray. Nice lad, well dressed and discrete. A credit to his Hibernianism.

And rightly so if they are invited to attend by the club.

Many of them however are season ticket holders i.e Kano, Keith Wright etc

I'm sure Hibs give the Former Players Association a number of season tickets and Kano is one that uses them. I could be wrong but don't think Keith Keith Keith is a season ticket holder as he normally work on Saturdays.

The association subsidises the season tickets for the guys as far as i'm aware. Need to check whether Keith is a season ticket holder still, he certainly was last year.............99% sure he still has two.

Perhaps things have changed over the last couple of years but the guys got a number of season tickets from the club and one of the boxes in the FF back then.
