View Full Version : Predictions v Aberdeen

Head says: 1-1

Heart says: 2-1

Griffiths early on, Aberdeen get right back into it around 38 mins, they score after a huge fumble around the penalty box where no one steps up to clear (everyone around goes "well, eh, could see it comin' eh...") and then a second half screamer by someone nobody predicted would score e.g. Claros or McGivern! Nail biting ending as usual.

I have to, I'm a betting laydee! I also put it down to Aberdeen and Hibs games being very predictable.

Think it will be a scrappy game. Neither team will completely dominate and I think we need to start the game well.

3-1 Hibs... Griffiths x2 and Stevenson for us with McGinn for the Sheep.

2-2. Good game, plenty chances.

Griffiths to have a late penalty saved after the pundits highlighting he's put his last 5000 the same way.

Not too confident about this one tbh, Aberdeen are a decent team. Im going for a 1-1 or 2-2

Worried about this one tbh. Would happily take a draw after a few shaky performances of late.

3-1 Hibs, a nerve racking last 10 played completely in our half ends with a 90th min Danny Handling counter attack goal!

Think it will be tight and would not be too downhearted with 1-1. Looking firstly for a much better performance that will show that last week was a blip along the road to recovery.

Ive got a bad feeling about it. But i felt like that last week, and the week before vs Dundee Utd as well.
So hopefully im wrong.
1-2.

I've got a Carlsberg bet on this weekend so Hearts will probably win and we'll get beat

0-2 we are always unlucky against them at ER. Hope I'm wrong

Sadly I think we will get beat, 1-3, just a have a feeling, but like a poster said above, I've had that feeling for a few games this season and we've pulled a result out the bag.

C'mon Hibs.

We need to show some "bouncebackability" from the dundee result, score draw for me, 2-2

surprised the dons are favourites with the bookies. We are at home, have not lost this season at ER and are above them in the league. Oh well, I still took the draw. We can never seem to beat the Dons (I realise we have done twice in 2012) but its a side we dont often do well against or get much luck. We also enjoy gifting them goals at ER (suppose to all teams).

Will happily lose my money from the bets and see Hibs taken the 3 points.

I think the sheep will fancy their chances, therefore I will go for a Hibs win 2-1. We always seem to get a result against them when they fancy themselves.

Be a really hard game, not helped by the fact Clancy and [possibly] McPake will be missing, so, given the standard of Aberdeens wing play, will plump for a 1-2 score. Hope I am wrong, but, just cannae see it. Will still be there cheering the boys on though.

Oh - and for all you yams looking in - "Hectors gonna get ye, Hectors gonna get ye, NaNaNa Na"

This will be a tough game, but our home form is quite impressive so far this season. I fancy cairney to score today as well as the standard sparky goal but unfortunately I can also see us leaking goals......2-2

Get McGivern on vernon instead of Hanlon and think we can win 2-1

2-2 McGivern and Cairney/McGinn and Reynolds

I just worry about that defence without McPake and Clancy. Hopefully we can keep it tight at the back and get the ball to Griffiths in the right areas. 1-0 Hibs, tentative!

yeezus.

I've seen a couple of awful 0-0 draws with the Sheep at Easter Road but today I think it will be 2-1 us and remain unbeaten at home in the league :greengrin

4-0 Hibs -

On the assumption that Fenlon has us up for the game from the word go, our rock solid defence takes no prisoners, our sharp and bright attack shows no mercy, our fans are patient, supportive and in good voice and Aberdeen are absolute rubbish ...

Can't see us not winning. Last week was the off day, and let's not kid ourselves into believing the sheep hype. We're above them in the league and we've beaten them twice this year; neither time at Easter Road, which now happens to be a fortress.

3-1 Hibernian.
