Ian Murray has taken over from interim boss Jack Ross at Dumbarton, which reminded of a trivia question.

What do the aforementioned Jack Ross, former Hibs manager Duff Jimmy, Lisbon Lion Billy McNeil, Half wit Radio pundit Derek Johnstone & Hun fan spokesman John Brown all have in common?

They've all been involved with Clyde at some point during their career? Derek Johnstone was never involved with them in a footballing capacity he was involved with Radio Clyde though so not sure if I'm right, the rest have either been players or managers of the side.

Some good guesses, but no right ones so far.

Also Derek Townsley, Dave McPherson, Roy Barry, Jim Black, Stevie Cooper, Marius Zaliuskas, Christophe Berra & Hamish McAlpine all share this connection too.

I'll reveal the answer at lunch time if no one gets it. There are 130 odd players who all have this in common, dating back to the 19th century.

That's exactly it - they've all scored for Hibs through an own goal.

Well done!

Jack Ross might be the only person who has done it more than once, and for two different sides. He's certainly the only person to have done it twice in the last 40 odd years.

I make the total around 137 - which means only The Famous Five, Joe Baker, and the perennially overlooked Jimmy McColl have scored more.
