It might be a while before he comes back, came up on BBC Sportsday that Hibs have sent him to see a specialist about his injury.
Hope they get it sorted, would be good to see him back in the team.

That's a big set back leaving us a bit sparse at the back.

Seems bad news, however, also states the injury could be treated by pain-killing injections - if so, he could carry on playing until winter shut-down.

Getting a bit tight on numbers with some big games coming up

When i was playing i suffered with a groin problem for the best part of 2 years (Gilmours groin).

I rested it and had injections, but it kept coming back. In the end i had the op successfully curing it.

Then ended my career a couple of months later with a cruciate injury.:greengrin

This is not good news as Clancy has been a good signing.

Good solid player. Even popped up with a couple of goals in his short Hibs career. We need him back ASAP

Funny. Just got info via friend who was dining with Clancy's dad who said he would be fit for Saturday

Our first decent right back since Whittaker and then this happens. Typical. :bitchy:

Been there too. I've had 3 hernias (two ops) and Gilmour's did me as I didn't want another op. Took months to get over it. Murder injury to have.

If we were to give him an injection for one game, I'd rather it were against Hearts next week. Hugely important when defending set pieces and has been a very good signing thus far, so will be very disappointed if we have to go much longer without him.

If it is long term, the right back Hammil over at the PBS must be getting near fitness again. He is half decent and must be available come January.

Would have a nice feeling if the Yams had paid his massive Big Club salary for the best part of a year whilst not playing then he turns out for us on a Hobo pittance and does the business. :greengrin

Saying that ,I'd far rather have a fit Clancy back in the team.

Says there that he'll be out of first team duties for "some time".

Says McPake is only 50/50 too - don't want him risked before the Hearts game, having him miss that would be a huge blow.
