Well done and good luck to him.

Was reported a few weeks back that he was in the running and the fact that he could still pull on the boots was something that appealed to the club. Scott Severin was also considered but he was thought to be second to Murray as he can no longer play due to injury.

Also, news from Livingston that Gareth Evans will continue as manager for the foreseeable future so a day of good news for ex-Hibbys.

Good luck Nid, hopefully he gets a good grounding there, does well and puts himself in line for the Hibs job at some point.

Which, albeit factually correct, says a lot about our media.

If he improves their form he'll have done fantastic job already. They are rock bottom of Division 1 with 5 points, 1 win out of 12 and 36 goals conceded (3 per game!).

yeezus.

Good luck to him - might see him at Stranraer in a couple of seasons - he would get a much better reception than Hartley did with Alloa.

Think he's got a bit of a tough time this season in div 1 but next season will be better for him. Future hibs manager in the making
