The club have kindly allowed us to hold a bucket collection on Sunday 2 December before the derby. This will allow us to obtain valuable funds which will help create future displays. As most of you are aware, we are self funded and have received no funding from the club. Our members contribute on a monthly basis and we have introduced merchandise to help increase our financial support. The reality in only have 15-20 members, means that the funds quickly drain away after a couple of bigger displays. We have received the backing from the support in the past and without you we would not have been able to pull off the displays we have. We thank you for this once again.

Unfortunately the majority of the group will be in the ground from 1pm getting everything ready for the match, therefore we require some additional volunteers. We are looking for volunteers to help shake a bucket from 2:15pm – 3:25pm before the match. Pints will be bought after the match for those who fancy one.

Please drop me a PM with your name and mobile number if you can help us out.

It was a bit disappointing to read that S43s recent collection was not able to proceed. I'm aware that funds are short, so I've sent a donation to the group's account. GGTTH, keep up the great work lads (n lasses)

Cheers EC! Been busy so not been on our board much. I'll fire a PM once checked account.

LH - someone who used to be close to the group let us down and shafted us big time! Huge disappointment as we would have scooped £1k+

There's a flag day this weekend where the flags will be out in the South Stand. I'm taking the East Lothian flag along, sure Sect43 or BouncerRoss will confirm where this is in the South (guessing upper tier) and how many flags are going to be out.

Have section 43 ever considered a permanent display constructed like an advertisement board at the back of section 43 rather than having to take their banner to every home game?

If this was a negative post about SECT 43 by me it would have been answered by now.

I think it would look superb as a permanent fixture and save you guys the hassle of fixing/removing your banner at every home game. The cost would probably be prohibitive to you I guess as I'm sure funding is difficult enough.

I took along 4 buckets including the auld mop one that I hadn't used for a while but couldn't see anyone to give them to. Had to dump them inside Scorpio.

Permanent fixings are being discussed. Should be done over Xmas.

What will happen when the Yams are there in January?

It's framing over one of the rows. Piping can be removed and stored if necessary.
