IIRC Miller was a boyhood Oldco fan so it wouldn't surprise me.
Jocky his dad was and his brother Stuart is. Kenny went to the odd game when he wasn't playing but he was far from "A fan". He played most Saturdays and when he was at Hibs that was the club he had the most passion for no matter what you read.

OK, I'll take your word for it. But he did describe himself as a boyhood Rangers fan on BBC Radio this season, I'm sure of it.

Was to please the Gers fans to be honest mate, as the papers love all this stuff. If Hibs did or were to sign him i'd bet my wages the same stuff would be said.

It's a funny one, I think we all agree we're one or two strikers light (I'm not counting Kuqi) and it seems as if Miller is desperate to come. He says money is no obstacle and I reckon he'd still pish this league so I can't understand why a deal can't be sorted. If for whatever reason Fenlon saw a player in Kuqi you'd think he would see what Miller can offer.

Because he is under contract to Vancouver and they don't want to let him go.

Wherever Kenny ends up mate, go and pass on to him not to wear that suit again (one he wore being a pundit in the cup triumph :greengrin) - I watched the game back and during half time I had to put shades on - too Miami Vice :greengrin
Wherever he ends up he will still do a great job :agree:

Fenlon knows all about Millers availability, but maybe his club are difficult to deal with, maybe Pat wants other parts of the team strengthened first and does not want to blow his budget on a player he will only have for a few weeks?
There are many factors in why Kenny may not sign for us, like you i think he'd still do well in the SPL, but i will leave my faith in Fenlon to do whats best with the money he has available for Hibs.

Fairy nuff:aok:
I was thinking about Miller the other day, scoring twice for us in a 2-2 draw against Rangers in a floodlight kickoff in 2000, he was great that night. I was a bit :party:and the atmosphere was a bit feisty if I recall correctly.

Haha a few of us gave him it tight for wearing that suit. I agree I do think he will do well where ever he ends up. Whitecaps weren't to keen on letting him go out on loan but Hibs didn't actually contact them they only got in touch with Dave his agent and never took it any further.

Yeah they signed him not long after that to keep their bench warm.

Pat's said if he can keep his three loan players, that'll be his business for the window unless someone leaves.
If Craig comes in and Sproule goes out, that's 1 for 1 and so we're reliant on punting DG or MS to get a player in.
IF Fenlon knows he's getting Spanky, there's no room for Miller.

Thought we might want to punt Kujabi and Kuqi as well

Punjabi will have to be bought out as there's no danger he's signing on the dole without a payoff.
As for 168 career goal hero Shifty, anyone who doesn't want him must be Kooky in the first place.

Zombie McCulloch seems to think Sevco is Miller's 'home'.
Wrong on two counts ya fud. He's a Hibs player, and Sevco has never been his home.

It will be if they offer him £7K a week in September.
