One of my main memories was him being completely dejected after the 99 CL final.
Read a couple of years back he doesn't seem to be a great manager.

BBC Scotland reporter Chick Young thinks Matthaus has "no chance" of getting the Scotland job.

One of my favourite and best players I've ever seen, don't really want that soured by him taking that job.
