Very interesting review sounds hopeful about McGivern less so about McPake. Wonder how we would go if both out? Didnt mention Clancy though thought I heard he was back training so he could play centre half if fit.

Thought the Claros review was good to read and he is so right about giving players time to settle especially given the circumstances of completely different environment plus the fact his family weren't here never mind learning a new language.

It's funny how a few good results can make us forget our weekly team predictions! It's a great thing that the team seems to pick itself at the moment & that we as supporters are all very happy.

Think just by reading a few threads recently tho, laughing at the Hearts, hoping that ideal results will go our way tomorrow has everyone forgetting that we still have to WIN tomorrow, before we accept the 3 points. Games arent won & lost on pieces of paper or table positions and i feel that tomorrows game will show how far we have come on if we can go to Dens Park and prove once again we mean business.

It's a tough away tie regardless the opposition being bottom of the league.

Williams

Maybury Hanlon McPake McGivern

Wotherspoon Taiwo Claros Cairney

Griffiths Doyle

Anyone have any news as to wether a) Clancy would be fit? as id have him in back at RB
b) hoping McPake's light training sessions has done him enough to come back in.

Can't see McPake making it, but hope that McGivern is fit.

It's not going to be an easy game tomorrow, but if I don't want us to take any chances on the fitness of Clancy, McPake or McGivern, so would be happy to have the same back four if necessary.

Consistency is the key to success so same again please if possible with McPake coming back in if fit

Evening News is saying that Clancy and McPake are winning their races to be fit...

1. Williams

2.Clancy
6.McPake (C)
4. Hanlon
3. McGivern

14. Wotherspoon
8. Claros

Wouldn't want Stevenson back in centre mid, he's much better suited to full back. If Mcpake is struggling Mcgivern and Stevenson can fill in there brilliantly.

We should be ok unless all 3 are out - then we really have a problem....

But you do sound cocky....they have just recently beaten Hearts and drawn with Motherwell(both away). Tomorrow will be really tough. We are nowhere near good enough to expect 3 points from any game

dundee seem to be hitting a bit of form and they will be confident about getting something from tomorrows match...they have one of the highest scoring spl players of all time in their side and he'll be hungry to stick it up his former employers....if we can keep nish from scoring we might get a draw

So it will be a draw then? :na na:

I'm sure we'll get the result tomorrow but it wont be an easy game, we're not that good away from home, and knowing Hibs if we're going to drop points it will be here.

The one next to the Clep? No, it is now a nail bar or something. Changed hands a few years ago but when we used to go to Dundee regularly one of the guys from the bus would nip into the butcher and order about 20 odd steak pies. The best steak pies I've ever had. The guy would have them cooked for us and we picked them up at 2:45 as we left the Clep for the game. A tradition that went on for quite a few years. He always had fresh pies made for us whenever the Hibees came to town. Great days :aok:

Aye, I think I was getting my Centenary's and Ambassador's mixed up. Think the boozer opposite the Clep was the Ambassador and the Centenary is further along near the roundabout.

Have to say if ever there was a potential bannana skin its today. As long as the players go in with the right attitude we should do well. If they think this is a given just to turn up we will be in trouble as nothing is easy in this league this season IMO

A win would help persuade many of us, on the sceptical wing of the doom and gloom faction, that we might possibly be witnessing an above average season.

Late on in the second half, a wee boy behind me says to his dad, " is that Caldwell coming on?". His dad says " aye". Wee boy chips back, " that is kinda funny, cos I am well cald."

Only highlight on a bad day.
