Very happy with that. With his fitness apparently an issue, I would hope that he doesn't get a run out at all.

Quite happy myself. Always nice to see your players get international recognition but a knock on Sunday, game on Wednesday then Saturday cam't be good. Plus he isn't even our player yet and I'd prefer to see him get international recognition as a permanent Hibs player.

Sparky would only be called up so that it showed Scotland as changing seeing as the original squad was the same as the last basically.

Why get excited? It's irrelevant - nine players have called off - no-body really wants to play in these stupid friendlies anyway - the future of Scotland won't be decided tonight in this friendly. This match means nothing - unless we manage a win that is ... :rolleyes:

As to Kenny Miller, he must be dead keen to play for his country, coming all the way from Vancouver - unlike some players closer to home - why knock him for it?

It's not as if Scotland is spoilt for choice with great players is it - ask Berti :greengrin http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20320884

5 players in the starting line up who would not normally be. That is significant change.

Hmm the darts or scotland game.

So do I choose;
Players missing the target, not taken their chances..just lacking in quality to finish things off and given opposition confidence.. with pissed up fans not really bothered how it goes... OR do I watch the darts?

I'm wanting Scotland to do well, delighted Levein has gone, he should have went two years ago after the 4-6-0 game.

Levein, Houston and Kenny Black were the worst trio we have ever had! In my life time i can't remember Scotland being bottom of a qualifing group at this stage in a qualifier.

I believe our squad is good enough, we just need a leader to manage this group and bring the pride back to playing for Scotland!
Roll on Wembley in August

Can't see me lasting the 90 minutes here.

The football is awful, the atmosphere is a combination of cringeworthy and non-existent and Craig Burley needs to have a clip emptied into his head.

The game and resulting coverage reminds me of lower league games, never mind internationals...

An amateurish first half performance despite the 2 goal lead, Berra (hopeless!) Naismith Miller Dixon all piss poor, I know it's only a low key friendly but we really need to buck our idea's up, no width whatsoever and so easily beaten to the ball in midfield...

Plus Shinnie stuck out in right and left mid, fish out of water. That 2nd half was as bad as it gets. Can that bunch of players really not pass a ball or was it just laziness? Naismith, for a Premiership player, was utterly embarrassing.
