Dinnae faint :faint: but 'Johnston is such a tricky player, he weaves into the Hibs box and his cross causes problems for the Hibs defence. Kujabi clears'. :greengrin

I've just done a wee match report from tonight's game.......thought you guys may be interested in it.

KILLIE 0 V 3 HIBS

A smaller than normal crowd turned up on a miserable night to see if Killie under 20's could continue their excellent seven game unbeaten run. The first shock of the night was that the famous Killie pie has a new recipe!! It's bigger, meatier and better......try one for yourself at the next home game.

Back to the action and Killie welcomed back Garry Hay after a lengthy absence through injury. He took his place in midfield in front of big Sissoko and surrounded by some very talented youngsters. Hibs also fielded a young line up as both teams struggled in the early stages to master the tricky conditions. Killie had more possession but couldn't create anything and were punished as Hibs snatched the lead in 17 minutes.Harris did well on the right and swung in a cross that found the unmarked Smith at the front post, the youngster netted from close range.

Killie were stung into action and the impressive Muirhead found space 20 yards out but his powerful drive flew a yard wide.On 26 minutes the visitors doubled their lead after some slack Killie defending. Harris found acres of space on the left and his cut back found Handling who clinically finished from 15 yards. On the half hour Muirhead caused problems again when he waltzed past two defenders but Murdoch blocked the effort from a tight angle.

Chris Johnston was causing Hibs problems every time he got the ball and his direct runs looked sure to reap some rewards. One lung bursting run took him past three defenders but a lunging tackle saved the day for Hibs as the wee man was about to pull the trigger.

There was a flurry of activity in the dying minutes of the first half. Both Winchester and Davidson fired narrowly wide for Killie whilst Caldwell headed just wide for Hibs after a good Kujabi burst.

Killie took off Hay and Muirhead at the break to be replaced by Slater and McNeil but the second half had little in the way of goalmouth action. Killie continued to dominate possession but had no cutting edge whilst Hibs were happy to defend their lead and hit on the break. Killie's best hope was Johnstone and twice he fired lows rosses that were begging for a touch from close range. Killie were becoming increasingly frustrated and the visitors hit them with a sucker punch with six minutes left. Kujabi again hit the bye line and his low cross was turned into his own net by Sissoko. Winchester had the final chance of the evening but his powerful shot brought the save of the game from Murdoch.

Killie had the best player on the park with johnston and he was ably assisted by Muirhead and Winchester. Hibs were well saved by Kujabi, Handling and Harris. The highlight of the night all the same was before the game started as we took our seats in the west stand. One Killie fanatic (who shall remain nameless) asked what does "YAWA" mean on the Hibs dugout. We had to point out the writing was on the inside and it indicated the "AWAY" dugout!!!

You can tell I wrote that in a hurry with all the spulling mistooks!! It was a decent game on a crappy evening and both teams had plenty of good youngsters on show........hopefully a good sign for the future of the Scottish game.
Can I ask that now Hibs are top of the league do you plan going to the Premiership or the Atlantic League lol!!
Good luck for the rest of the season
