Time was already up. It was 3 minutes added on and that incident happened half way through the 93rd minute. Basically time was up when joe hart took that freekick.

Then again I would be raging if it was hibs or man utd in that situation.

But then surely their should have been injury time added onto the injury time, due to the game stopping for the freekick in the first place?

I'm astounded the amount of people who keep saying this? Its a minimum of 3 minutes, not 3 minutes dead.

I did not watch any of the games tonight, but caught the last 5 minutes of this game. What is the point of those dummies who stand either side of the goal, if they cant see a clear penalty like that one in the final seconds against Ballotelli?

Just like the rest of their Champions League matches this season.

Just not good enough.

I've yet to see these guys make a meaningful decision. They seem to only be there to tell if it is over the goal line or not. There was a camera replay from pretty much the position of the behind the goal official and the shirt pull was clear. If they don't have the balls to call a decision like that they shouldn't be in that position. It was a shocking decision.

That being said, it's not a disaster that it happened to Man City...

Can't agree with Bishop Hibee, I have no problem with Celtic winning the game tonight. Great finish by Watt too. I've seen this lad interviewed and he has his head firmly screwed on, not arrogant and not dismissive of other teams either. Good young player who'll go on to better things too. I'm no fan of Celtic by any means, but if this helps the coefficient in can only be good for Scottish football generally.

That's better for us

I worry that Utd are hitting a wee bit of form right before we face them, added to the fact you know who is ref, I'm not that confident about the weekend. They are four spl games unbeaten. If we do win then I will be extremely confident for the rest of the season. We have obviously already turned a corner but I worry the bubble is about to burst and we drift away from European place (ala Hughes first season). I know that's terrible but I think Hibs have trained me to think this way over the years.

if the arabs win their game in hand they will go two points behind us, just like Motherwell would have, but the arabs are now on a roll and will be up for it even more this sunday, i think we can stay ahead of motherwell the rest of the season but not so sure about dundee utd, therefore i wanted either a well win or a draw would have been even better :)

On the subject of Celtic, I think it's only fair to say well done to them tonight. Tremendous result and a good representative for Scottish football (even if it is a slightly deceptive one :greengrin). I saw a thread on FF earlier called 'Seville v Barcelona', a childish tongue out to Celtic and one where they were building up to taking the p!ss when Barcelona took Celtic to the cleaners. They obviously didn't like the script as the thread seems to have mysteriously disappeared. Bloody infantile.

I didn't see the game, just watched the goals and other pundit clips on SSN. Don't get me wrong it's a great result for Celtc and it sounds like while they rode their luck a bit it was not totally undeserved. Great to see Watt doing well. I hope to see him in a full Scotland squad alongside Fletcher and Griffiths soon.

As for the co-efficient, sorry but I'd rather Celtc, Hertz and Oldco (the latter 2 in the past obviously :greengrin) lost every game in Europe, Any other Scottish teams I'd hope they lift the trophy.
