If you are planning the train on the East Coast line north to south there may be disruption as someone has stepped onto the line at Monifieth. Trains north of Carnoustie cannot get further south.

If your travelling into Edinburgh there will be roadworks everywhere :agree:

if you're driving anywhere in Aberdeen at any time of the day you will be faced with chronic congestion and come under attack from mutant giant seagulls.

Between Berwick and Dunbar dinosaurs are picking up and chucking any cars that aren't green into the north sea.

On a serious note however there was a crash at grantshouse yesterday evening, hopefully roads have cleared and all involved are ok

I went to Sheffield last month, they have a fantastic tram service and it goes to a few different places. Mostly packed on everyone we went on.

How can Edinburgh not have such a thing? Crazy.

They shouldn't make the tram system too big though.. just a nice simple airport to centre line.. that's what the people will want.

Stay well clear of the M8 westbound.

That's nothing to do with travel disruption, just sound advice!
