Posting youtube vids on facebook- issues

Just wondering why a blank youtube box appears instead of a thumbnail and blurb in facebook posts now?

Is it some act of petty cyber-revenge between warring companies? All I know is, it looks rubbish andI have stopped posting video links.

It's working fine for me. Are you using a mac?

I'm not a tinternet genius, but if you try to do it from a mobile device you don't get a thumbnail. If you do it from a laptop/pc etc logged in to FB through the Internet (as opposed to an app) then you should get a thumbnail.

Perhaps then the issue is between the Mac/Apple device and YouTube?

I was using a mac. Normally works but i have seen others posting it too with the same result.

Maybe its like that limmy sketch where he is the only one who sees everyone's face all distorted...

It could be down to the Apple v Adobe stand-off. There's loads of stuff about it on the interweb.

It's happening with my posting videos from an android phone. Not tried it from my laptop though.
