THE miseries of last season are too recent for Hibernian to need a reminder, but they were given one here anyway. An error-prone defence, a collapsible midfield and a strikeforce whose best efforts were undone by their colleagues – the formula for defeat was eerily reminiscent of the previous campaign, even if the overall standard of play was some way above the nadir reached in the early months of the year.
