View Full Version : Question Harry Potter - Just what is he good for?

Clearly he's not an actual wizard, so he can't do spells and that, and as a manager he's one the square root of hee-haw, so he's not good at that either.

So, people of hibs.net, my question to you is: Just what is Harry Potter good for?

Personally, I think he's got a use as a measure of how bad things could be for folk who are down on their luck. "Never mind son, it could be worse - you could be Harry Potter."

He also looks like he'd be a decent scarecrow. :agree:

I could do with someone to wraggle some walls for me. Then again, I'd need a good job made of it, trusting Levein to do a 'good job' of anything is an impossible ask.

Sooner that scruff, speccy Hearts ******* is out the door and on the dole que the better.

Jings! He hasn't half bloated up since then. I thought the Buckfast thing was a joke.

Three stones flabbier and a Barlinnie haircut and scrub. The Man of Destiny.

He says there he has a squad of good-quality players who'll work hard and run till they drop. So it isn't a lack of ability and it isn't a lack of effort on the part of the team.

So what's the problem, Craig?

Stick him in a stripey hat and jumper, get him in the crowd at Hampden, and we can have a real life game of Where's Wally.

Felt sorry for the jakey so I offered him some work sweeping the yard.

But instead of using the new broom I had bought for the job, he insisted on going round next door and borrowing an older, not very good broom instead. Inevitably, results were mixed.

When I asked him to explain what he was doing, he got in a huff and mumbled something incomprehensible about "only working with brooms that wanted to work with him".

I had to let him go.

The leg on my garden table is a bit wobbly so I suppose I could let him take its place until I get round to fitting a new one. Or there's an empty hutch in the garden since the rabbit died but I am no sure if he could do the job though, its a hard act to follow and he'd need to hit the ground running.

Well he's certainly not good for Jakey's as he gives them a bad name.

Personally I think he should manage Hearts given his record

The man is not a winner in fact he is a loser of the highest order!!! Never won one thing as a player in fact one of his teams darkest 2 days in the last day of the season 86 and cup final of 86. So the question is how can someone who is such a massive loser ever train winners?

Hadnt seen that before. Only reason he's riled is because he knows the guy is right. 4-6-0 in what really was one of the best times to be facing the Czech Republic in the last 15-20 years. There for the taking and we could have kicked on (possibly) from that.

He has to go, no doubt about it.

It was also the time that Kenny Miller, who would normally be asked to play lone striker, was in the scoring form of his life (he scored 22 goals by January in that season, 10 goals in his first 6 SPL games. The decision was beyond belief.

£700k to pay him off ?

You are having a laugh

Whoever the muppet was in the SFA that drew up that ridiculous contract should be bulleted as well

£700k for a guy that failed at Leicester, did nothing much at Hearts and had a brief spell of success (very brief) at Tannadice

No wonder he wants to hang on when he's on that outrageous salary

Hmm...
problems encountered by Scotland are very similar to those currently being faced by his home country, Ireland.Do Ireland have a stubborn, egotistical, clueless, jakey in charge as well? Nah.

Sorry Pat, I'm going tae have tae disagree with you this time. Worst Scotland manager ever and he ain't going tae get any better.

Agree with all you write
However how about this for a solution :greengrin
Levein is on a Five and a half year contract which finishes in June 2014.
Given that we will not qualify for WC 2014 just leave him in the job and let him make a complete fool of himself and appoint a new manager for Euro 2016.
That way SFA save money and we all get a good laugh !!
Question for him is :-
With his track record who , in the top leagues , will employ him ?

:aok:

Pat was clearly doing a preview of this weekend's game, was asked about Levein and has offered a fairly standard defence for another member of the manager's club.
