Is it advance tickets only or will they sell them at the ground?

Does anyone know how many the away end holds? Trying to work out if I'd be better off buying a ticket in advance, don't want to get all the way up there for it to be full.

Here is a good guide to Ross County's ground. Says that it holds 2000 in the away end so more than enough and that they dont take cash at the gate however appears to be a portacabin. Make sense to buy ticket before you go would have thought.

there is a portacabin on the left hand side next to the carpark ,where you can buy the tickets ,not a chance it will be a sellout

The fact we see £20 as a reasonable price for SPL football shows you how ridiculously over-priced the game is up here.

What's the best way of getting from Inverness to Dingwall?

:agree:

Totally agree Sean. Some of these guys that are so called SPL professional football players are way overpaid for the skills that they possess and it's the fans who are paying their wages via the admission prices.

Train is around £8 without a railcard, probably the best way, takes half an hour.

There are trains but they aren't always that regular. Inverness bus station is about 5mins from the train station and they do fairly regular buses (with a lovely journey to boot!).:aok:

There's no trains heading South until a couple of hours after the match. Taking bus from Inverness looks a better idea which is what I will be doing.

Ahh i see, pretty strange, you'd think they would have a train as it's missing out on decent money.

Strange and annoying as the train would be my first choice.

Where do you stay, mate? Public transport sounds like a real headache for Dingwall. Is it your only option?

I am only staying up in Inverness for that weekend because of the game. The bus service looks pretty decent.

Just checked Scotrail for trains between Inverness and Dingwall and seems to be a semi regular service to it. 11.01, 12.16, 13.34. 13.59.

Trains back are 19.12, 19.38, 20.16. £8.80 return.

Wouldn't be much more expensive than the train!

The local pub for the football ground is on the (wrong) platform of the railway station.

The times will be irregular because the two rural lines beyond Dingwall (west highland and north) are one track (ie they have to be timed so that trains meet on a passing loop).

I was going to go to Motherwell the week after but think I'll head to this one instead, much less travelling involved for me. Looking forward to it!
