I decided to wander over to sickbag to see what waffle those lot are spouting these days. Usually avoid it, but glad I didn't today.

What is their obsession with attendances and numbers...? It’s abnormal.

Attendances - Not very representative of those who call themselves the big club

No appeal outside of west Edinburgh, no meaning to anybody beyond.

He has played in every game this season, has some goals and is only 17, and had interest from clubs bigger than Hearts from what i have heard. Not saying the value is right and most of them are laughable but they would be more likely to hold out for £1m from him than most of their other players.

Either way 1m isn't the going rate for a 17 year old striker with 2 career goals. Who's to say if he'l be worth that a few years down the line? Could go either way when your that young.

I used to look on cutback a fair amount, quite enjoyed noising them up and that but I've not even so much as clicked on a link to it, never mind actively went out my way to read it for a few years now, and I can heartily recommend this approach as it reduces the amount of fuddery I'm exposed to by a massive amount.

They are also overlooking the fact that Hearts were unable to pay all their players wages on time in September. What will it be like in October, November and December? The few with any value in Hearts' squad will be walking in the next window.

They've got 14 out of contract at the end of the season, which means they could sign a pre-contract in January making then virtually worthless.
