Aberdeen - Standing & Flag Policy

For those wondering or thinking of taking flags, here's what I received from Hibs:

"Aberdeen’s Flag Policy: NO SURFING FLAGS ARE ALLOWED IN THE AWAY SECTION
FLAGS ON 1 METER CANES ARE ALLOWED AND ANY LARGE FLAGS, WHICH MUST BE FIRE ******ENT, CAN BE DISPLAYED OVER THE UNNOCCUPIED SEATS OF SECTION P OR IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE DISABLED SECTION
Plus approval for the drum to be brought in. Was discussed at Pre-OPS Meeting attended by both clubs, the Police and Stewarding Contractor.
We have advised them that the Sect43 guys will locate themselves towards the rear of the seating deck so not to obstruct other spectators.
Follow instruction from Stewards and Police. Do that and there should be no issues."

There were no standing issues at the last Pittodrie game except for the very large “come on the colour of the grass” Hibby who was roaring at me to sit down.

That's where I was for the December game and there was no issues. Glad they seem to be fine with it again.

Can't wait, not been up for a few years, delighted theres somewhere to but the new East Lothian Flag. Not that we are a big headed bunch but defo the smartest flag we have :wink::greengrin (alongside the Lancashire)
