Can't know what the OP really intended, but I'd guess it was for a thread just to offer Deek congratulations.

Shampoo and a comb will sort that problem.

As for the OP, congratulations to the Riordan family.

You are becoming very tiresome with your pishy comments about Deek.

You just can't help yourself with the we digs about Deek can you, even when this is a thread about congratulating the guy and his partner on having a wee baby girl.

How can you not just congratulate the guy about his partner having a wee girl and leave it at that.

Congrats deeko. Many sleepless nights ahead but you'll never regret it.

Becoming a dad was without question the proudest moment of my life.

All the best.

I congratulated him. Sorry that you're experiencing difficulties in dealing with me but your greeting is more ro do with other threads than the totally innocuous comment I made here.

Well, since one of the meanings of innocuous is 'not likely to irritate or offend' you've failed. Again, please can I request that you give it a rest? :aok:

Yes I could. It was yourself and others who couldn't just leave a comment and let it slide. If you think for a nano second that you get to pick pick at my comment without redress then you're pissin into the wind.

It would be terrific if Derek can recover his form at Bristol. He's only 29 and should be at the peak of his powers.

Being away from Edinburgh and its fleshpots where guys are waiting to have a pop at him should help and so should being a dad.

Saturday was his first game back after being out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

Good luck Deeks! One of our own. Troubled last spell at Hibs. But a legend just the same!

Hope he does well, really don't see it though.
I think he's finished. Can't believe he's where he is at 29.
He should have went abroad instead if Celtic.

How he has progressed ? I think if you look at his downward spiral to end up at Bristol Rovers you will see for yourself, still a Hi-bees legend though

Always like to look out for ex Hibbys and see how they are doing. Bristol Rovers won today and Deeks managed to split the messageboard. Hope he does get his fitness back and shows what he can do. He should be at a higher standard than the bottom English league.

Seems a lot of them have conflicting views. Deeks himself has done that since day one at Hibs, no doubting the lads ability but his effort was always up for debate on situations when the team wasn't playing well much like BR now.

I hope he finds full fitness and form because he was such a great servant to the club that its sad to see him fall so far down the footballing ladder and struggle.

neither has his common sense

Just had a quick look through the thread and to be honest the views seem to be pretty one sided. They think he is a passenger in the side.

Obviously he still has time to get up to speed down there but it's sad to read as I love the guy(for his 100+ goals and his hatred for all things jambo) and would really like him to do well.

He was injured for few weeks not so long ago, I understand.
