Oh you're in trouble! The righteous will be along to swath you any minute now.
Good read though and from an atheist point of view it's hard to believe that folks keep falling for the same old cons.

I don't know anything about Mormonism but had a quick scout around the internet after reading that. No more or less bananas than the others but you wonder how it even caught on in the first place? If Joseph Smith tried to sell that story these days, he'd be sent for psychiatric evaluation and assigned a support worker.

The Book of Mormon though, is no more or less ridiculous or and more or less a work of fantasy, than the Bible, the Koran, the Torah and every other “Holy” dogmatic fairy tale the World has had to endure, books that for centuries demanded the suspension of reason on pain of death. The Book of Mormon simply amplifies and emphasises the stupidity and dangerous dogma of all organised religion.:agree:

Religions will always be fallable as they are created by people.

That's one thing that I wonder about as well. If anyone proclaims to be the son of God now, they are largely dismissed as being a loony.

It's good to read the balanced, unbiased views of non-partisan political commentators during the build up to an election.

Perhaps you'd detail for me where the writer goes wrong? :cb

Who said he's wrong. I just question his partiality.

So even if he's right, if he belongs to some group you don't approve of, he's to be discounted?
"South Park" did an excellent - and totally accurate - episode on the LDS Church. Are they partial or impartial?

I didn't make any comment on what he said. It's the tone of the piece that makes me question his partiality.

Definitely. Money and/or power - the pursuit of it makes the world go round.
