Right guys, hoping to go to this next summer as a last hurrah with the lads before I go off to the Navy! Anyone been before/going this year know the best ways to travel and where to stay?

Try get a villa if you can. If you camp you will not sleep. Friends of mine were saying they finished watching the bands at 3 or 4am and then were up at 6ish because the heat in their tent.

From the sounds of it, the festival is absolute carnage (in a good way!)

Last year we flew into Barcelona, hired a car and drove down to Marina D'Or which is where our hotel was. We got a taxi between the hotel and the festival site. It was phenomenal.

Been 3 times. It is the best festival ever. Camped twice and hired a villa once. Camping is hard, the heat is hard going and not easy during a come down. There is plenty of places to stay. You should defo go. Think there may be about 15 folk in our party going next year.
