We dined at the newly re-opened Pompadour Restaurant in the Caledonian Hotel last week for our Wedding Anniversary. A superb edition to Edinburgh's restaurants, the head chef is Craig Sandle formally of Balmoral Number 1. Give it 12 months and I reckon the Pompadour will be the latest Michelin star in Edinburgh.
