Defending Paralympic champion Rachel Morris believes her London 2012 medal hopes disappeared when she was hit by a car despite recovering in time to compete at the Games. The 33-year-old, who won hand-cycling time-trial gold at the 2008 Paralympics, was competing near Guildford last month when her bike was struck on the offside and written off and she suffered whiplash and shoulder injuries.
