I've been thinking that aswell. I loved that when we scored, especially vs. Aberdeen in the semi-final.

They started charging royalties for us to use it, and last season that song would have cost us £3.50 in total. The 'tache wasn't having that.

One of my pet hates is music being played after a goal, better off without it.

It's better hearing a roar of 'Hibees Hibees'

This.

A bit too 'sports entertainment' for my tastes.

:agree:

We're good enough at creating our own noise at a goal.

I grew up with Teenage Kicks being played after a goal and loved it at the time. That's just how I knew it. Can't say I miss it too much to be honest but I would have no objections to having it back.

:agree: That and announcements during the game for Jimmy to contact his wife as she's packed his bags and left them in garden shed.

Speaking of which did that guy that "disappeared" when his burd proposed to him via the stadium announcer ever give her an answer ? Thought it was a bit harsh of the announcer to play "That's entertainment" afterwards :)

At Leuven pre-season when they scored, they played the chorus of Sweet Caroline. Whole crowd joined in and started bopping. Only 40 secs or so - cheesy but effective :greengrin
