If you need your heart warmed and your spirits uplifted, it's worth catching this on iPlayer. Properly inspirational, and entertaining.
Hour and a half drama about Dr Ludwig Guttman, the Jewish German refugee, who was asked by the British government to work with neuro-spinal injured soldiers at Stoke Mandeville. If you haven't heard his story, he introduced sport to these (previously considered hopeless and embarassing) patients, in the face of opposition, and inaugrated the Parallel Games in 1952.
