.....................and who caused the summer of uncertainty. One thing they could do to save money is to sack Doncaster and free up his wages. Can't believe he hasn't gone yet.

The SPL are claiming they have not received the money in yet to pay out. If that the case why have they allowed games to be televised already?

I was thinking same they should be pulling this weekends games from tv so the clubs get a chance of higher attendance... then again they've already nailed there pants to the post saying the game will die without sky, they'll probably be checking out viewing figures before the ink dries

So the league has implemented new rules on clubs paying for things on time and running themselves properly....yet the cant manage to do this themselves.

I wonder if Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and co ever has this problem i the EPL...

I don't know why everyone, fans, clubs, media are trying to make a big deal of a cash flow problem here. IMO its misleading.

Of course the SPL won't have millions lying around in case the money from the tv deal doesn't come in.

If I'm due to pay my bank loan on the 25th of each month but expect my wages on the 23rd and I don't get paid I don't happen to have money stashed away just in case.

If it wa regular bills for premises, electricity etc then I'd get worried.

I've seen people try and equate this to the rangers scenario calling the SPL hypocrites but they are completely separate issue.
