BBC reporting that Motherwell have turned down "significant" bids for Nicky Law and Shaun Hutchison.

What happened to the financial meltdown that was going to happen?

Apparently the bids are around £250k and £100k

It's all relevant though. Not significant to Celtc but is to Motherwell.

With the squad Motherwell currently have. They would simply chuckle at a 250k offer.

Aye, because thats what I was suggesting. Thats why I mentioned Hanlon in my post.

You are confusing me now.

Did you mean Hanlon?

The only reason I referred to him is one of their players is a 21 year old centre back who gets a regular game in the first team. Seems a reasonable comparison to me.

They can go for much better offers, according to a Well club spokesman.

England - One was apparently from a championship club and the other from a Div1 side.

Nicky Law is a cracking player. Just goes to show that there are players out there that can do a job in the SPL for cheap.

£250k is only cheap if we are selling. If we're buying then it IS a significant offer! :wink:

Soz, I ment for Motherwell. I'm sure they signed him on a free, just a pity we can't seem to find these players.
