Entry into the SPL was never going to be an easy adjustment to make, and I think it’s fair to say that, so far, County are still finding their feet a little. Scoring goals has eluded the team thus far, but with two clean sheets in the first two games, a solid defence is a good foundation to start a season. It was, of course, a solid defence that helped County through the First Division last season, keeping 14 clean sheets in the 36 league games.
