He got released when he was about 15 I think, played for Edinburgh City till under 21's then had a spell at Harthill juniors.

Not entirely sure what relevance it is that he used to be on Hibs books. Completely unrelated to the crime as far as I can see. Certainly not worthy of making the headline.
Suppose it might make a few more people read the article looking for a bit of scandal. The kind of thing I'd expect from the tabaloid rags as opposed to the BBC.

Yeah, I couldn't work out why that was relevant in any way.

Looking at the picture above makes me think he could do a job for us as a midfield "enforcer". :greengrin

Didn't stop the Edinburgh Evening News using the Hibs badge on their front page when they reported the story.

I'm sure he played in my team at Lorwood a few times. Was a good player.

Remember him? I have vague recollections of Kris Brown as a youth player at the club but his career never really got going.
Not sure he shows much talent for his next chosen profession either...

Why does every news report about this clown begin with "Ex Hibs youth player" no relevance to the story or crime what so ever.

Yup! He's already sired an illegitimate child (Norman Price). Keep this in mind next time you watch the programme. ;-)

What a waste, 13 odd years in jail, great way to live life.

Irresponsible reporting from the een IMO. The club should have wrote to them the first time. I know the paper could say he was on our books but this is bs.

This is the thing though, of you get away with it you're a millionaire, but once you're in you don't really get out so it ends bad.

A millionaire with hundreds of ruined lives on your conscience.
No sympathy for the guy whatsoever. Glad he's been caught and glad he's now rotting in jail.

Digestives are the business. And only the good stuff will do - McVitie's.
All other brands pale in comparison. You have to add cheese or peanut butter to them to get them down.
But I could just about eat a whole packet of McVs at a sitting, given decent tea to drink.

I agree and I'm not condoning it but understand why people do it.
Drone is a much bigger danger to people and their lives now. Turns people into zombies, much cheaper and available as well. I've seen 14/15 year old on the bus out their face on it. Waiting outside 'pipe shops' whilst their older pals go in to buy their 'Balt salts' or 'plant feeder'.
Not really sure why I've gone off on that tangent!
