Would we be guaranteed to get the cash going by their history. Ah wait a minute... they've no got any history apart from a narrow win up at Brechin.

Hot and cold ball scenario.

Sevco at Easter Road would be interesting in view of the great unwasheds vow to hurt SPL teams by boycotting their grounds. Aye right.

Sniff of hypocrisy anyone?

On the other hand Sevco at Ibrox would be equally interesting.

Extra policing and stewarding required and independent monitors (A La Scottish Junior Cup in the good old days) to ensure there is no skullduggery with attendance numbers. Additional costs for DerHun and Hibs get half of a very good gate which I suspect will not be offered at £15 a skull.

I await developments with interest. We are a nailed on certainty to come out of the hat with them.

Queen's Park or Montrose at Easter Road for me please.

I would really like to avoid Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton and also Rangers, of course.

Wouldn't fancy our chances against any of those teams, particularly away from home.

Sevco at ER would be okay. Although if at Sevbrox Park it would make Hibs a good amount given 38k Orcs showed up for East Fife. Potential 250k for Petre.

You're mixing QOTS up with the late and unlamented Gretna.

Hibs played Gretna twice in the cups in 2006/07 at home, stuffed them twice (6-0 in the League Cup and 3-1 in the Scottish). Hibs played QOTS away in the Scottish that season, won 2-1 (Sowunmi scored the winner). There was also a LC game against QOTS at home a few years before that, I think Hibs also won that one 2-1.

Looks like that's the seated stand rather than any terracing then. :boo hoo:

The only terracing is behind the goals and is home support only. There's a tiny enclosure at the front of the main stand. The open terrace at the other end of the ground is now unsafe to use after years of neglect. The home terrace is also the largest surviving terrace in Scottish football in use. The stand we have been allocated is all seated.

According to this (http://www.footballgroundguide.com/scotland/queen_of_the_south.htm), the half of the East Stand mentioned above holds 1,100 which I'm sure should be enough space?

QOS do not have any gates that take cash, just started this process this season. You have to purchase tickets pre match from ticket booths outside ground, this applies even to thier home games against the likes of Alloa, Forfar etc. Sounds like they have had a few dishonest people on the turnstiles in the past. So even though in effect the game is all ticket, you can get them on the night of the match. Last time round on the Saturday, think the crowd was just over 6,000, so no issues this time with game being a Tuesday. GGTTH

According to QOS website no ticket booths so it is cash at the turnstile, assuming that is for away support as well!!

Also, a reminder that the match will be "pay at the gate", The match day ticket offices will NOT be in operation for the Hibernian game due to the anticipated size of the crowd. Entry on that night ONLY will be by direct payment at the turnstile.
