How ironic a player playing in Scotland puts out team England and Wales I fully support all other olymipians just not the football team delighted they are oot

The sfa didn't want Scottish participation - I think that was a mistake

I feel the exact same way, been fairly behind team GB in most sports. But the Fitbae team would be like supporting Engerland. Can't bring myself to it !! Even if there were one or two Scots in there ide feel dirty...

Good that Britain are out of the footer. They are a mixter-maxter of a team who don't represent the UK and anyway football should not be in the Olympics.

Neither should tennis but I'll make an exception if Andy can win tomorrow!

Agree. After the best Olympic day in history I wondered for a few seconds why Lineker's puss was tripping him.

Totally agree mate. South Korea are a true homogeneous Korean team and always play like it, pride and passion in a national team equals unity and punching above weight.

I never watched the game, choose to watch the athletics instead. Football and the Olympics are not good bedfellows in my opinion. I'm not really into international football but there was no connection with team .GB and Stuart Pearce just comes across as a knob

I don't know what word you were going for there, but given the political situation - and the fact there's no such country as "Korea" - over there, I'm almost certain "homogeneous" wasn't it. They are a typical team for that region in that - like you say - they work like blazes for each other and never give up.

Well done to them - delighted to see Team GB get papped oot on penalties. Now we can bother ourselves with supporting Team GB in proper Olympic sports.
