So, who do you think will be relegated? Who can we expect in the top 6? Can anyone give Celtic a challenge for the title?

I reckon:

Celtic (C)
-----------
Dundee United
Hearts
Aberdeen
Motherwell
Hibs
------------
St Johnstone
Killie
St Mirren
Ross County
ICT
-----------
Dundee (R)

Killie will be relegated , Aberdeen wont be anywhere near a top 4/5 finish and Hibs will be 6th.

Hearts will be lucky to finish 4th with the team they have out today.

Then again nobody else is that strong either so who knows/

Celtc will win the league and Dundee will go down. What happens in between these teams is anyones guess.

They asked the presenters on Radio Scotland about this an hour or so ago. Most of them said that Celtic would win and Dundee would go down, although someone said it would be Inverness for the drop. Jim Spence said no one would go down as League reconstruction would take place at the end of the season!!!

Being a wee bit optimistic, going for a 5th place finish if we get in a striker

Hibernian

Last season: 11th. Prediction: 8th

The bitter memory of the Scottish Cup final mauling by Hearts will linger with the Hibs support for some time. So, too, will a series of under-par league finishes, which have led to dwindling attendances at Easter Road. Pat Fenlon is charged with improving matters and has at least made transfer moves aimed at pulling Hibs away from any relegation battle. It would be a surprise if Hibs encountered the trouble of last season but Fenlon's forwards must make up for the departure of Garry O'Connor, who scored 16 times in the 2011-12 campaign.

from the Guardian. They reckon United 2nd and Hearts 3rd.

The so called experts in a few of the papers I have read are tipping Hibs for another dreadfull season.

Celtic
Dundee Utd
Aberdeen
Yams
Hibs
Motherwell
-----------------
St Johnstone
Killie
ICT
St Mirren
Dundee
Ross County

This based on the fact that Dundee Utd by some miracle appear to have held on to their 3 front players. Aberdeen held their own in Germany, The Yams still have a better team than most on paper anyway, Hibs just cant afford another bad season, Motherwell are a bit weaker than last year and the rest of the teams in the bottom six have not added anything to what they had last year.

Id say thats about right, although the bottom 6 could really be in any combination.

United have probably the best chance of doing anything against Celtic, and imo have a better starting 11, but Celtics squad is massive. Over the course of a season, that pretty much rules out any other team.
