I worked beside a girl called (and I won't use her real first name) Leslie Raper. Pronounced just as you would expect. If ever there was a case for a name change, I think that's it.

I remember being taught at school where names came from, like Smith, Thatcher, etc. Let's hope the same doesn't always hold true.
